Jellyfish Kids is based in Liverpool and is the brainchild of Serah who began making hand dyed vests for her friends & family. After some encouragement she took the brave step to set up an Instagram page selling her items and her success has grown from there. Officially launched in April 2016 Jellyfish Kids followers have increased to over 5K to date.
Although Serah still runs the company pretty much as a one man band although she also has help from her partner Andy who is a graphic designer and occasional help packing the parcels from her sons – who also feature as model’s on their website.
I became aware of the brand shortly after their popularity had spread onto Facebook and immediately loved their items. I have watched the business progress from selling handmade vests on social media to launching their own website which now stocks a huge range of children’s clothing & accessories as well as some items for Mum’s & Dad’s too.
New designs and products are added to the range regularly and in my opinion always on trend.
So far I have added three items to Leo’s wardrobe – the red heart breaker tee, the orange ‘Keeping it real’ tee and the Mama’s Bestie hoodie – although I could quite easily have ordered everything but sadly I’m not sure the hubby would be very happy.
All items are made to order so there is wait time for delivery usually up to 21 days, however my three orders have arrived much sooner – they are well worth the wait! The items I have purchased are all of excellent quality and wash and wear brilliantly. I have found the sizes to be a generous fit meaning they will definitely get plenty of wear before being outgrown, which of course for us Mum’s with kids that grow at a rate of knots is extremely important! The hoodie has to be the favourite of the items we currently own as it is lovely and thick, warm and very snuggly on.
The service provided by Jellyfish Kids is second to none and because it is a family run business they have that friendly personal feel which has always come across in any communication I have had with them during my purchases. I love to support small brands as they offer a more unique style in compared to items available on the high street , plus Jellyfish Kids items are all sourced from UK based suppliers which is even better.
Don’t take my word for it though visit the Jellyfish Kids website and check them out for yourself – you wont be disappointed !
