Mother’s Day Gift Guide

Mother’s Day will be here before we know it and everyone is on the hunt for the perfect gift. It can sometimes be difficult to find something that isn’t your run of the mill gift so I have tried to put together a variety of gift inspiration ideas to help you find a gift that’s just right.

Own A Moment

Stickerscape

I recently discovered Stickerscape and immediately fell in love with the wonderful array of products they offer. I was therefore extremely excited to discover they have a range of gifts especially for Mum’s – I literally want one of each! They have a selection of canvas and tote bags all with funny quotes – my favourite has to be ‘Mama & chief wiper of tears, noses and bottoms’ as it sums my life up perfectly! Available in a range of colours they would make the perfect gift for any Mum, as we all know how much stuff we need to carry around with us and these bags will ensure it’s done in style!

If your plan is to treat your Mum to a bottle of something Stickerscape also have your back with some wonderful jute bottle bags to give your gift that something extra. I’m personally loving the #mummyfuel design!

Rare Birds Book Club

If your Mum is a book lover, then a Rare Birds subscription would make the perfect gift! Rare Birds is a book club with a difference as it is online based. Unlike traditional book clubs that may not fit in with busy lifestyles, with Rare Birds there’s no rush to finish your book as the online community will there waiting to discuss the content of the monthly title whenever you are ready. We were thrilled recently to trial the Rare Birds Book Club which you can read about it here. Gift subscriptions can be purchased for 3,6 and 12 month periods at a cost of £10 per month. The recipient will receive a monthly ‘secret’ book delivered directly to them along with exclusive access to the members only forum.

Bunches

If you are looking to treat your Mum to flowers or perhaps a longer lasting houseplant, then I can highly recommend Bunches. I have personally used Bunches for many years to send flowers for all occasions. Unlike your usual bouquet flowers, Bunches are sent in bud via Royal Mail meaning that they last much longer than shop bought bunches. You can add gifts including chocolates, mini balloons, small bottles of fizz and teddies too. I have always found them to be excellent value for money and the recipients have always had fantastic things to say about them. A bonus is that if you sign up when you buy you can earn Posy Points on every purchase giving you money off future purchases!

Use code MUM18 at check out until 10th March and get 10% off!

Something Precious

If you are looking for a unique piece of jewellery to gift this Mother’s Day then look no further than Something Precious. Based here in Cumbria, I had the pleasure of meeting the designer, Amanda Mudge, last year ( have a look at the post here) and getting a first hand look at the stunning pieces she creates. Inspired by the Cumbria landscape and Lakes Amanda makes each piece lovingly by hand using porcelain. There are numerous ranges all offering something different, giving plenty of choice. The pieces are shipped Worldwide and for each piece that is sold £1 is donated to the charity Stop The Traffik, an extremely worthy cause.
