The Gift Of Fairy Day Dreams

I have a real passion for supporting small business and have recently featured Jellyfish Kids and All About Ewe to help share and the spread the word about these wonderful companies run by Mum’s. Following on from this I want to share with you the magical Fairy Day Dreams.

Fairy Day Dreams is owned by Essex based Mum of two Joanne Wright and operated from her home workshop.  A keen crafter since a young age, Joanne started making cards and jewellery as a hobby after the birth of her eldest child before going on to create the magical themed items she now produces. Her interest in fairies and all that is magical inspired her to design and create fairy doors with the aim of introducing a hint of magic into her buyer’s homes, understanding it’s not just children who believe!

Joanne has a real passion for shabby chic and vintage design which you can see has been used as inspiration when designing the doors, giving them a different feel to similar items available on the market. Using a range of bright colours, the doors are both eye catching and bang on trend making them a perfect addition to any home. The doors are available in a range of themes using a variety of quality embellishments and handmade paper flowers to create truly stunning designs which are both pretty and magical.

The smaller fairy door’s can be attached to skirting boards, walls or doors – in fact anywhere you would like your little fairy to be able to get in! Joanne also makes larger free-standing doors which would look beautiful anywhere within your home and can be easily moved around. The 3D frames offer an alternative to the traditional fairy doors depicting magical fairy scenes which incorporate a smaller version of the fairy door, these can be personalised too and would be perfect for a nursery of child’s room.

Until recently Fairy Day Dreams has been trading on Facebook and at a local stockist, however they have just opened their own Etsy store meaning these wonderful items are now available to a much wider audience. Their store offers a range of ready-made doors available and ready for dispatch, however Joanne welcomes custom made and personalised orders just drop her a line to discuss your requirements, she is very accommodating.

Alongside her fairy doors Joanne also has several exciting new products in the pipeline including her gorgeous needle felted bears – I am in love with the fairy bears and can’t wait until they are available in the store!

All of the items sold by Fairy Day Dreams would make ideal gifts for any occasion and there is no better time to place an order as Joanne has kindly given us an exclusive discount code for Fraser’s Fun House readers offering 15% off when quoting  FAIRYSWELCOME at the checkout until 31st March 2018

  4. These are so cute! I bought my Niece one like these a while back and she’s set up a whole sitting area, yoga mat, letters and food for the fairies. It’s so nice to fuel their imagination like that!
