If you’re a regular Fun House reader you will have seen over the last few months I have been regularly featuring small businesses and their products. I am extremely passionate about buying and supporting smaller companies that offer high quality, handmade and unique products as opposed to mass produced items that can be bought in every store on the high street. I will continue to do this in the hope of widening small businesses audiences as well as introducing my readers to some amazing products and services out there.
This time I am featuring SOAPerfect a small Mum-run business based in Longtown, Cumbria. Run by Mum of two Sarah Underwood from home SOAPerfect was created in 2015 after the birth of her eldest child. Realising she didn’t want to miss her son growing up she decided to work from home and has managed to turn her passion for bath bombs into a career.
SOAPerfect’s biggest seller are their huge range of luxury bath bombs! Available in a vast number of delicious scents they stock mini, regular and deluxe sizes- depending on how much relaxation you fancy! Handmade to order they are all toxin free with the majority being organic and vegan. Bombs can be purchased individually, or Sarah is able to create gift sets/ baskets to order according to your budget – these would make an ideal treat for you or to give as a gift! There are so many options to choose from including glitter filled and colour changing bombs, ideal to make you feel special and offer the perfect treat at the end of a hard day.
The newest product to launch are their soap bouquets and personally I haven’t seen anything like this on the market before. Beautifully arranged to look like a bouquet of flowers and presented in a gift bag these would make the ultimate unique gift. There are six themed bouquets to pick from each containing seven bath roses and three carnations. The individual petals of the flowers can be used as guest soaps and the roses will dissolve in a warm bath making the water change colour as well as releasing their wonderful scent. These would last for ages if used correctly and would make a stunning display in the bathroom in the meantime!
With notice, Sarah can cater for larger events like weddings – these would make fab favours – and corporate functions. She can also provide gender reveal bombs, the ideal way of telling your nearest and dearest if your expecting a blue or pink bundle of joy! I have personally purchased bath bombs individually boxed as an alternative to party bags for my daughter’s birthday, they look stunning and went down a storm with the kids.
SOAPerfect ship anywhere in the UK and products can be purchased via their Facebook page or their recently opened Etsy store. Sarah has kindly offered readers a discount of 10% on orders over £5 when purchased from her Etsy store when quoting NEW10 at the checkout.

Those soap bouquets are stunning, I’ve never seen anything like those before. And what a fab idea to use bath bombs as kids party favours – too late for me this year but I’ll have to remember it for next March! Flora and I love bath bombs (not a fan of Lush though #unpopularopinion 😂) so I’ll definitely be checking out her store. And, yes, I’ve entered the giveaway too! Fab review, thank you Mel xx
