Random Facts About Me – Blogger Q &A

I absolutely love finding out more about my fellow bloggers and there’s no better way than taking part in one of the wonderful tag posts which regularly do the rounds. Many thanks to Darren who runs Days Out Now, a fabulous site for which I am a proud Brand Ambassador, for the nomination. So, on to the task at hand and here are my answers to some random questions! Enjoy….

When was the last time you cried?

I did have to wipe away a tear or two whilst watching Friends last night if that counts? It was the episode where Ross and Rachel decide to make a go of it – although it is short lived once she discovers his list of cons about dating her!

If you were another person, would you be a friend of yourself?

I like to think so as I think I am a kind, thoughtful and genuine person and that is what I look for in a friend.

Do you use sarcasm a lot?

Oh my goodness, definitely ! In fact myself and Mr F were recently discussing how perhaps we needed to tone down our level of sarcasm, especially around the kids! For us  it comes from watching far too many programmes and films with sarcastic characters, we just can’t help ourselves.

What’s the first thing you notice about people?

Their eyes or smile as they give away so much about how a person is feeling.

Scary movie or happy endings?

Happy ending every time! Mr F loves scary movies but as I’ve got older I can’t hack them anymore, i’m too jumpy. There’s nothing better than the warm, fuzzy feeling you get from a movie that has a rosy ending.

Favourite smells?

Those scented pine cones you can buy at Christmas are my favourite smell. I also rather like the smell of bleach.

What’s the furthest you’ve ever been away from home?

Zante, Greece

Do you have any special talents?

L’m really great at multi-tasking! If you need someone to cook dinner, wipe bottoms, do homework, answer emails and sort laundry at the same time then i’m your woman!

Where were you born?

Essex!

What are your hobbies?

Between work, family, housework and blogging I don’t have much time for hobbies, but I always make time for reading as books are my passion – even if that reading time is whilst i’m doing the aforementioned multi-tasking!

What did you want to be when you grew up?

The only job I ever wanted to do as an adult was to be a journalist and despite getting a place at uni to study when I was 18 an extremely stupid decision prevented me from going. Despite regretting my choice ever since blogging has reignited my passion for writing and filled the void.

How many Countries have you been to?

Sadly only 4 but I hope to increase it in the future!

What was your favourite/ worst subject at school?

Predictably my favourite subject at school was English with my worst being either Science or PE

What is your favourite drink?

If we’re talking alcohol then it has to be Proscecco or soft drink it’s Pepsi. Having said that I do love a brew, it really depends on how I feel on the day!

What would you (or have you) named your kids?

My kids are named Ella-Louise, Stephanie and Leo although other favourite names include Reed, Ophelia and Felix.

Whilst pregnant with Leo he earned the nickname Willy once we discovered he was a boy. The girls discovered it in a baby name book and thought it was hilarious!

Who are some of your favourite YouTubers?

I don’t watch much YouTube if i’m honest but if I do it’s usually random parenting vlogs I discover and I did go through a phase of watching speed cleaning videos – I have no idea why! My Sister and Brother both Vlog and it goes without sating that I always give their videos a watch!

How many boyfriends have you had?

4 serious ones!

Favourite memory from childhood?

Learning to roller skate in my Grandparents back garden – I can still remember how happy I was skating along holding my Granddad’s hand.

How would you describe your fashion sense?

What fashion sense? If I make it out of the house with my clothes on the right way round i’m winning.

Tell us one of your bad habits?

Biting my nails!
