Tell us a bit about yourself and your blog

Hello, my name is Kelly and I’m a 24 year old blogger from the south west. I have run two blogs previously, but decided to stop blogging about eight months ago. I then felt like I missed blogging and so set up www.thekellydianereport.co.uk again and am just getting started. I try to blog about anything that suits me, whether its beauty, fashion, lifestyle or my biggest love – aviation. I want to write about things that interest and inspire me, to keep my content real and to hopefully help others along the way.

How long have you been blogging?

I’ve been a blogger for six years, but set up my latest blog in September 2018.

What or who inspired you to create your blog?

I love writing, especially about experiences or products I have used. I remember years ago being inspired by Fleur De Force and thought to myself, I could do that.

What’s your favourite thing about running your blog?

There is an amazing community that you don’t really see until you start a blog. There is always somebody there that will offer advice and help if you are stuck. You can get answers from real people that were probably just as stuck as you were on something not that long ago.

How do you stay motivated?

This time round, I’ve learnt to write posts when I feel in the mood to do so and not because I feel that I have to. I try to keep a few pre-written posts as drafts, which I can use when I’m not feeling motivated. This way, it means I don’t have either no post or a half-hearted post going live.

What’s been the most challenging part of your blogging journey to date?

For me, its been standing out from the crowd. Whilst I try not to compare myself to others, there is so many bloggers around, that I sometimes feel lost amongst them. I’ve learnt to just ride it out and keep doing what I’m doing, because that’s what makes me happy.

Tell us about your favourite blog post

My favourite post has definitely got to be this one – https://thekellydianereport.co.uk/2018/10/01/get-to-know-me/

This was the first post I did after restarting my blog and I had so much love and support on it, I knew I’d made the right decision coming back to the blogging world.

Describe your blog in four words

 Authentic, real, honest, reviews

What are your future hopes and dreams for your blog?

I would love to support other bloggers and small businesses in the near future, helping them to grow and achieve goals, like others have done for me. I hope that I will always love creating content for my blog and that I will continue to grow as a person through blogging.

QUICKFIRE GET TO KNOW YOU QUESTIONS:

Early Bird or Night Owl?

I’m definitely a night owl. Its very rare that I’m up early!

Night in or night out?

I love nothing more than a night in with a takeaway and a film.

Ketchup or mayo?

100% Ketchup

Summer or Winter?

Ohh this is a difficult one. Whilst I love the fashion during Summer, there is something wonderful about being cosy and comfy in Winter, so I think I’ll pick Winter (Plus, I’m a huge fan of Christmas which just happens to be in Wintertime)

Tea or coffee?

I absolutely love tea and usually end up drinking about 10 cups a day!

Bath or shower?

I’ll always choose a bath over showers. I just love a soak with my favourite bubble bath and a good book.

Pizza or Chinese?

Absolutely Chinese

Dog or cat?

I’m very much a dog person. As i write this, my five year old dog Trixie is asleep at my feet.

Movie or box set?

Whilst I like a good film, I’m much more box set kind of person. Give me Downton Abbey or The Hills (did anyone else love this too?) any day.

Sweet or savoury?

I’ve always been more of a savoury person. I can definitely take it or leave it when it comes to sweet things.
