Happy Thursday everyone! The weekend is almost in touching distance and that can only mean one thing…..I have a brand new blogger interview to share with you. As you may have guessed by the blog name it’s all about the books over on Simone’s site, so if you are looking for something new to read this is the place to look. I hope you enjoy reading all about the Cumbrian lady behind Read Of Roses!

Tell us a bit about yourself and your blog.
Well, I’m from a very small family in North West Cumbria, where I have two siblings, both older. And a beagle called Cosmo. One of my main interests beside blogging, is painting. My blog is a mixture of everything from book reviews, general chat, to interviews with fellow bloggers and Youtubers.
How long have you been blogging?
I’ve been blogging altogether probably 3 years. I’ve had quite a few blogs but just sought of outgrown them. I’m very pleased with the one I have now.
What or who inspired you to create your blog?
I don’t think there was one person, I’ve always just loved writing from an early age. My favourite subject in primary school was Big Writing. We had candles and music on for the whole lesson, it was great. But I was really inspired by Zoe Sugg (Zoella). I know it’s a bit cliche, but I’ve followed her since she started and she was a big influence in helping with everything, not just blogging.
What’s your favourite thing about running your blog?
The community. I’ve met so many amazing people through social media it’s great.
How do you stay motivated?
If I’m really honest,I’m never really motivated. It quite a big struggle for me because I deal with quite severe anxiety. But I’ve learned getting up around 7:30 has helped a lot.
What’s been the most challenging part of your blogging journey to date?
Being consistent. When I first started years ago, I threw my self into blogging quite aggressively. But I’ve learnt the hard way, to not feel so pressured to be perfect every time. And every blog is different,
Tell us about your favourite blog post (feel free to add a link!)
It’s an old one from Zoella, but it’s helped me a lot.
