Welcome back to another instalment of my Meet The Blogger series. designed especially to help you discover new blogs to read and enjoy! This week I’m chatting to Dennis who is a long-term seasoned blogger, about his site Psychreg. Check out his interview and be sure to head over to take a look at his blog too.
Tell us a bit about yourself and your blog
I’m a mental health blogger and founder of Psychreg, which runs a blog, a podcast, and an academic journal. I also organise conferences in different countries.
How long have you been blogging?
I have been blogging for 14 years now. I began blogging about personal opinions and then I later on became a travel blogger. In 2014, I developed an interest in mental health.
What or who inspired you to create your blog?
My background is in psychology, while I was doing my research project as part of my master’s degree, I have been reading a number of psychology blogs. That inspired me to launch Psychreg.
What’s your favourite thing about running your blog?
It’s a privilege to be working from home and to earn a bit of money from something you enjoy doing.
How do you stay motivated?
How do I stay motivated? Hmmm. To answer this, I’ll just share you what Marty Rubin once said: ‘If you’re playing at something and having fun, you don’t stop to wonder why.’
Tell us about your favourite blog post (feel free to add a link!)
My favourite post to date is about the Psychology of Blogging
What are your future hopes and dreams for your blog?
I want to have 500K views in a month. To date, I have over 100K.
