This week I’m chatting to the wonderful Lauren from Readers Enjoy Authors’ Dreams, a blog which I personally read and enjoy. Check out her interview to find out all her and her fabulous site.
Tell us a bit about yourself and your blog
I’m Lauren and I blog at Readers Enjoy Author’ Dreams (read). I am 26 and do a very good impression of Wednesday Addams. My blog started off as book reviews but I soon ended up covering topics such as period poverty and breast cancer awareness.
How long have you been blogging?
What or who inspired you to create your blog?
I had a lot to say. Honestly I’ve loved book for as long as I can remember and found myself recommending them more and more and took the leap. My blog soon developed into a tool for making me feel like I’m doing good in the world by shedding light onto subject that are kept hush.
What’s your favourite thing about running your blog?
I like having the ability to shed light on subject people don’t want to talk about for example smear tests and getting men to check their balls.
How do you stay motivated?
I keep myself on a strict schedule
What’s been the most challenging part of your blogging journey to date?
Juggling it and my job
Tell us about your favourite blog post
would have to say my review of the house of night series because PC Cast saw it and she sent me two books that complete the series. I loved these books when I was a teenager and I didn’t fit in but I felt at home with the nerd herd. Also 10 year ago me is beyond dead that she owns books that PC Cast has signed and sent over.

Books, fun-loving, life and quirkiness
What are your future hopes and dreams for your blog?
My future hope is that my blog helps someone either through a book review or though one of my let’s talk about subjects.
