It’s the last day in October, how did that even happen? Before we know it Christmas will be upon us followed swiftly by the start of a brand new shiny year! Anyway I digress, back to the present and of course being a Thursday that means I have another Blogger for you to get to know. Tell us a bit about yourself and your blog

I am mother of a naughty monkey and started blogging in 2017 after leaving my full time job as Director Sales and Marketing. We used to travel a lot and realised that I could start sharing my experience with the world so I started with a travel blog called Colossal Umbrella . Eventually I decided to share my experience as a mother and added some great parenting tips and health tips for family. Colossal Umbrella now covers an parenting, family travel and health.

I am also a part time commodity trader and make money through investments in commodities.

How long have you been blogging?

It has been 2 years and I love it. I learned so much in these 2 years and kept growing my blog.

What or who inspired you to create your blog?

I got inspired by reading blogs shared by other mommies and decided to share my story through my blog but eventually realised that there is so much learn. I knew so little and working in a dynamic industry, it gets difficult to catch-up sometimes and need a lot of effort

What’s your favourite thing about running your blog?

I love when my audiences appreciates my article and share them around. It is an achievement for me.

How do you stay motivated?

It does get difficult but people around me keep me motivated. I keep getting ideas about what to share from people around me.

What’s been the most challenging part of your blogging journey to date?

Taking out time to write and getting more organised about social media. I feel that it is going to take me forever to achieve growth since I am mostly busy with thinking about content rather than collating all of that together.

What are your future hopes and dreams for your blog?

I hope to grow this blog and make it a full time business. Through this blog, i aim to let other mommies know that you can learn any at stage with little motivation.
