I’m so excited to share today’s Meet The Blogger interview with you as I’m featuring one of my all-time favourite blogs, Little Tinkablee. I have followed this blog since the beginning and watched it grow, going from strength to strength. Not only that Tinka it’s creator is one of the most friendly and supportive blogger’s I have met, always taking time to connect, comment and share even when she is struggling herself. I hope you will take a look at our chat and find out more about her fabulous blog before clicking the links at the bottom to take a look for yourself.
Tell us a bit about yourself and your blog
I’m Tinka an aspiring author with a huge passion for writing and helping people. I own three cats all, but one is named after chocolate (yes, my family do make fun of my chocolate named cats, but I wouldn’t change their names for the world!) I write from my newly created blog called ‘Littletinkablee’ that covers many different topics ranging from (but not limited to): Lifestyle, Mental Health, Book related posts, Personal development, Product reviews and many more topics.
My blog takes you on my journey with over coming bad mental health, defeating my depression and over coming my sever anxiety as well other mental illness, all while taking my viewers through another journey of “Writing” my dream of becoming a fulltime blogger, author and therapist for young people. My aim is to help others and help inspire others all while trying out new things and being creative with what I have. I also make and will soon be selling my homemade vegan candles/wax melts and bookmarks, my online shop opens October 20th 2019. At the moment I am requesting people to test out my ‘anxiety’ candle range, for a free and honest review on them.
How long have you been blogging?
I am extremely new to the blogging scene, having created and started my blog this year on the 2nd of February. Although a year or two ago I had originally attempted to blog but my anxiety over one and I deleted it two weeks later.
What or who inspired you to create your blog?
I suppose you could say I inspired myself. I needed a way to break away from the life that was created and over ruled by my poor mental health and extreme anxiety. I wanted to do something, but I also wanted a way to go back to helping people. I did a little research, noticed I was clicking on a few blog posts that were helpful, when it hit me… I could blog. I could help by blogging, surely? After trial and error with my first one and letting my anxiety beat me once more, I dedicated this year to ‘fighting fear with fear’ and not letting it stop me from doing something I want and now love. A week later, Littletinkablee was born.
What’s your favourite thing about running your blog?
I really enjoy all aspects of blogging but there’s really nothing I enjoy more than being able to express my thoughts, my opinions, my feelings with the world and others like me. There’s nothing quite…content like having your own platform to tell YOUR story and your side/view of things, helping and inspire others along the way is always an added bonus.
How do you stay motivated?
I will admit that I can be the worst person when it comes to being motivated, it really doesn’t come easy to me and it feels like a constant battle that I’m having to fight every single day.
I honestly just to keep in mind everything that I have managed to achieve this year since starting my blog, everything I have managed to over come because I took that leap of faith in myself and went for it. I’ve achieved many things that I never before dreamed I’d be able to achieve, I’m connecting with people I thought I’d never be able to with my anxiety. I’m being open to more opportunities that were closed off to me before.
So I guess in short, I look back to where I was last year and look at where I am today and it motivated me to carry on, to be better, to get better.
What’s been the most challenging part of your blogging journey to date?
So, far I would have to say, Imposter syndrome. Constantly feeling as though everything, I have achieved is basically nothing, that anyone could easily do what I am doing and probably even better. Or I feel as though I haven’t rightfully earned anything that I have done or gained with my blog because I have needed a little help along the way or because it wasn’t a 100% my idea, just an idea that I have managed to put my own personal twist on. I need a lot of reassurance from my partner/friends/family to keep me going and to not fall into a self-pity hole or just completely deleting my blog from the face of the earth. Being in a constant state of battle with my mental health has to be one of the most challenging thing I have experienced while blogging.
Tell us about your favourite blog post
I actually have a few favourites that aren’t limited to personal growth or development, although I will say that my personal posts are my hardest yet more…liberating posts to write, I really enjoy writing out my book reviews for authors and my posts on animals. All my posts have one main goal in mind, to help. Whether that’s helping authors or businesses get their books/products out there or helping someone who is going through something similar to me or helping cat owners be more aware of their pets. Theses’ are just a few of my favourites that I have gotten to write so far:

Describe your blog in four words
Messy, Raw-honesty, Literary-mental-release, Dreams.
What are your future hopes and dreams for your blog?
There’s nothing I would love more than to see my blog continue to grow the way it has been. I’m hoping through my blog I’ll be able to carry on chasing my other dreams while still being able to help a number of people through my writing. Not too fast paced but faster than I honestly expected. I’m hoping to be able to have it as a full-time career along side my dreams of becoming author and therapist for young people.
QUICKFIRE GET TO KNOW YOU QUESTIONS:
Early Bird or Night Owl?
In my heart I’m a night owl but anxiety/brain usually wakes me up 6am and so I guess I’m a little bit of an early bird…just not by choice.
Night in or night out?
Either or. If the night out consists of camp fire or something equally as peaceful then night out. More often than not though I’m a Night in kind of gal.
Ketchup or mayo?
Ketchup!
Summer or Winter?
Last year I would have told you Winter. Now I just have a healthy respect for Winter. I guess I like summer more now. Though spring and Autumn will forever be my favourite seasons.

Tea, I’ll be drinking a cup of tea while taking a bath!
Bath or shower?
