Today I’m thrilled to be chatting to the wonderful Mani as part of my Meet The Blogger Series. Being a fellow book lover her blog is filled with all things bookish, so if that’s what floats your boat make sure you head over to check out her site after checking out our interview.
Tell us a bit about yourself and your blog
I’m Mani, I have Osteogenesis Imperfecta (Brittle Bones) which means I break my bones easily and randomly.
I’ve always loved reading but I really got into it as a way to help pass the time, while spending long periods of time in hospital and recovering at home. Now, it’s turned into a bit of a obsession I think, especially as now I never leave the house without some sort of book.
I’ve been reviewing books for a couple of years now but only shared my reviews on certain platforms, but then I decided to start my blog Mani’s Book Corner. Here I share my thoughts on books that I loved and didn’t love, as well as on other bookish things.
How long have you been blogging?
I have been blogging for 19 months now.
What or who inspired you to create your blog?
I’ve wanted to start blogging for a very long time but just didn’t know where to start and what to blog about, but then I was clearing out some stuff and I found some old notepads with some rough book reviews that I had written. That’s when I thought it would be a great idea to start my blog. I spoke to my best friend about starting my blog and she thought it was a fab idea, and that’s when Mani’s Book Corner was created.
What’s your favourite thing about running your blog?
My favourite thing is being able to meet and make new friends who have a passion for reading and sharing bookish thoughts
How do you stay motivated?
