Meet The Blogger: Dumebi From Economist Media

At the start of 2019 I decided to do something a little different on my blog and introduced a weekly Meet The Blogger spot to help my readers discover some new blogs and bloggers to follow. It proved to be extremely popular so I decided to continue it into this year and today I have another fabulous blogger to introduce to you! Check out our interview below and be sure to click the link to check out this great blog too.

Tell us a bit about yourself and your blog

I’m a part time blogger which posts about day to day politics, business ventures, and health topics which I find interesting, I in the past have written a post on climate change. I like reading the news and love writing, I dislike coffee and hate when people chew out loud, but you’ll find out more about it all later in this post.

How long have you been blogging?

I have been blogging 1 month since writing this!

What or who inspired you to create your blog?

My main inspiration are my friends, ever since I posted my first post they have always been the ones to support me. But, I would say that also my viewers aswell, the people that always come back to read my blog keep me motivated! Another thing is that as I said earlier I love reading the news and love writing and those two combined is what I do part time and it gives me great joy doing this job. I’m honestly hopping to continue on until I die 🙂

What’s your favourite thing about running your blog?

I get to share my views and raise awareness for things that ordinarily wouldn’t have had any attention. I find the most humbling of topics and talk about them!

How do you stay motivated?

I remember that if I don’t do it no one else will! That is why I literally never quit anything that I start.

What’s been the most challenging part of your blogging journey to date?

SEO and advertising. I just can’t seem to get viewers from searches.

Tell us about your favourite blog post

It is the first topic I wrote that raised awareness for a minority, every part of writing it felt good. I honestly recommend you read it, not because its my post but because just righting it moved me and I’m sure it’ll move you too.

Describe your blog in four words

Serious, Caring, Ugly, Loving

What are your future hopes and dreams for your blog?

One day have my blog be able to noticed by someone so I can raise awareness to people easily.
