Happy Thursday everyone, I hope you are all safe and well during this unprecedented time. This weekly blog series was designed primarily to help my readers find some new content to devour and with many of us now being stuck at home in isolation I’m hoping today’s new post may help you find something new to help pass the time. Today I’m sharing my interview with Akin from Chaktty Media so be sure to check out his blog and also why not check out all the other fabulous bloggers I’ve featured over the last year.
Tell us a bit about yourself and your blog
I‘m Akin Chaktty, an entrepreneur, blogger and digital marketer. I love writing, getting to know facts about things, especially science.
I run few blogs under the Chaktty media, and the vertical we concentrated mostly are tech, business, food, health, crop production and Pet.
I run this network with my team and we manage three blogs at the moment which are
TechPally.com – Focused on Technology and Business
HealthPally.com – Focused on Health, Healthy eating Habit and Lifestyle
FarmPally.com – focused on Plant and Animal business
How long have you been blogging?
I learned blogging in the year 2005 and started writing online that same year. I started with blogspot and created many blogs in my first two years of blogging.
As a career, I started in 2011, although I had about three projects that failed, I was about able to build another three different blogs that become success today.
What or who inspired you to create your blog?
Writing is one of my hobbies, so I’ve been enjoying writing right from my elementary school days.
Actually, the feeling of doing something people appreciate is just too electric so this led me into blogging and get heard by a larger audience.
It was this feeling that made me to learn blogging, and I got inspired by the amount of money one can make from this career.
What’s your favourite thing about running your blog?
My fav is learning about the subject I want to write about. It usually takes hours for me to research keywords and write long articles.
If you check our contents, you would testify to that. I also like doing optimisation for my blogs
How do you stay motivated?
Well, when a mix of passion and value brings reward, I think failure is already defeated.
Every blogger gets tensed up sometimes until you’re able to earn enough to build your team, manage them and still much to squander.
For me, the profit I generate from from it motivates me, so also the good feelings of learning new things which I want to write about.
Whenever I feel like my head is filled up, I read about other successful bloggers, read about different things or engage in other activities just to change the frequency at which my brain works at that moment.
Other thing that has been working for me is to swift focus from one blog to another.
What’s been the most challenging part of your blogging journey to date?
Well, in business, you’ve to focus on your strength and let experts in other areas of the business handle the rest.
Traffic is a challenge, just like most other bloggers out there. Don’t really acknowledge any challenge or let me say my conception about challenges may not be like others.
I want to grow, so i expect to do more, do new things and keep moving forward.
However, two different events that occurred and I went through a very difficult moment was..
When Google disable my Adsense account, and
When I migrated to private server, start managing myself and my websites keep going live and down for more than a week.
Tell us about your favourite blog post
Really, running three blogs with thousands of publications, I don’t think I’ve a favourite blog post.
I put almost the same effort and resources in every content I publish on each blog.
However, I love my blog posts that rank high on search engines. I feel good about it and can single one post out of many on the first page it’s search sites.
Describe your blog in four words
Techpally, healthpally and Farmpally are our brands.
I hope that has not exceeded four words, just trying to be mean with you.
What are your future hopes and dreams for your blog?
Blogging is business only if anyone sees it as such. It requires much investment, not to run it but to make it a big business.
I’ve already built a brand and I hope to grow it big to a level big businesses would want to acquire it.
In few years to come, I will integrate question-and-answer program on each of the blogs where people will be able to submit questions and get knowledgeable people responding to their queries.
I also plan to launch online store on each of the blogs, where people will be able to shop there favourite goods and subscribe to services.
QUICKFIRE GET TO KNOW YOU QUESTIONS:
Early Bird or Night Owl?
Night in or night out?
Ketchup or mayo?
Summer or Winter?
Tea or coffee?
Bath or shower?
Pizza or Chinese?
Dog or cat?
Movie or box set?

I’d like to say a massive thank you to Akin for taking part. Check out next week’s post as I welcome another fabulous blogger.
