Today I’m chatting to Kelly from North East Family Adventures to find out all about her inspirations and dreams for her blog and I hope you enjoy finding out more too!
Tell us a bit about yourself and your blog
Hi, Im Kelly, a content writer, aspiring author and blogger. I started North East Family Adventures as a way to document our lives. I have always loved to write so thought why not combine that love with blogging. On the blog you will find recipes, reviews, Days out ideas and lots lots more.
How long have you been blogging?
I have been blogging publicly for 3 years now which has gone by so quickly.I did blog as a teen but that was more on a personal online diary kind of level.
What or Who Inspires you to create your blog?
My love for writing had a part in the decision to start blogging, as a family we love to cook and travel and thought that was grounds to start a good honest family lifestyle blog. My husband Craig had a part in my decision too because I never thought I would be able to do it and he gave me that push that I needed.
What’s your favourite thing about blogging?
Meeting and working with some fantastic people. The blogging community can be a bit clicky but I have met some lovely bloggers so far. Plus I get to make lists without an excuse anymore.
How do you stay motivated?
I stay motivated by taking the time I need to refresh my brain and when I need to take a break I take one. Self care is very important. I love to create content and have a great time with my family which also keeps me motivated to continue.
What’s been the most challenging part of your blogging journey to date?
Nothing major, the main issue I seem to have had is a name that I thought fitted the blog well. After three name changes I think I’m finally settled!
Tell us about your favourite blog post
Hard one I love most of them. I really enjoy creating recipes, especially ones the kiddies can get involved in. This is one of our favourites Flapjack!
Describe your blog in four words
Fun, Wanderlusting, Exciting, Creative
What are your future hopes and dreams for your blog?
To have a decent following with loyal readers. I would love for the blog to be a go to place when people are looking for certain ideas. Oh and for the blog to feature my published books when I eventually finish them.
