Meet The Blogger: Masum From Ulta Palta Blogs

Welcome back to the time of the week I like to dedicate to promoting some fellow bloggers! Each Thursday I share an up close and personal interview with a different blogger from across the world and this week I’m chatting to Masum about the influences behind his blog Ulta Palta Blogs. I hope you will stick around and learn some more about his website and be sure to check it out using the link below too!

Tell us a bit about yourself and your blog

I’m a 24 years old Bangladeshi, who is a postgraduate in Mathematics. Few words to describe me are: Travel enthusiastic, football freak, occasional photographer and a blogger by passion.

The blog I created is a self portrait of who I am. For me, it’s a medium of communication with like minded people around the world. The topics that I like to write most on are Football, Cycling, Photography, WordPress tips and some random thoughts.

How long have you been blogging?

Well the answer is not quite simple as it should be. I started this blog in 2017, but the run did not last more than 3/4 months. Later in the earlier period of 2020 I restarted writing blogs and have been sailing in full rhythm since then. So as of today (July 2020), technically I have been blogging for 4 years, but to be fair I am a newbie blogger with an experience of 4 months.

What or who inspired you to create your blog?

In my social life I am a bit of an introvert type. But my desire to speak to the outer world was always strong. I found writing blogs to be a perfect way of expressing myself to the world. Thus the desire of speaking to the world drove me to create my blog.

What’s your favourite thing about running your blog?

There are lots of things that I like about running this blog. But if I had to choose one, I would choose the opportunity that I have of learning about people and cultures around the world. By going through contents from bloggers all around the world, I get to see the world from their perspective.

How do you stay motivated?

I’ve always wanted to make my blog grow big. It has eventually become a passion for me. This ambition keeps me motivated.

What’s been the most challenging part of your blogging journey to date?

The most challenging part of blogging for me is to maintain consistency. And I guess most bloggers will find it common.

Sometimes I get tangled with many personal matters. This hampers the time maintenance of posting. But I try my best to be consistent.

Tell us about your favourite blog post

Every blog I write is favourite to me because I take extra care of every post I write, with several revisions, word by word.

But one post I have to mention is a beginners guide I have written for newbie bloggers on how to customise WordPress websites beautifully. It took 15 days for me to finish this post.

Describe your blog in four words

 Friendly, Engaging, Versatile, Worthwhile

What are your future hopes and dreams for your blog?

To continue delivering fun and useful contents for the readers, consequently reaching more and more people everyday.
