An A-Z of 5 Star Reads

Some of my favourite blog posts to read are those that boast A-Z lists and I have dabbled in the past with a post myself creating my own A-Z of Me(l). However this time I thought it would be fun to compile a list of book recommendations trying to use the alphabet as inspiration, but to make it even more difficult I have limited myself to only books I have rated 5 star!

I’ve also tried my best to steer away from ‘popular’ books that are regularly discussed on social media and try and highlight a few lesser known gems- although I will admit a couple of my all time fav’s that are very well known did end up in there so not sure how successful I’ve been! I feel I have quite an eclectic taste and read around most genre which I hope comes across in my list too!

Additionally I decided that the words THE & THIS at the start of book titles don’t count – my blog post, my rules plus I think without this caveat it would be pretty impossible! Goodreads was definitely my best friend when I embarked on this challenge – if you love to read too feel free to add me as a friend over there and see what I’m reading. So without further ado here is my A-Z of 5 Star Reads….

The Black Flamingo by Dean Atta

The Cruel Prince by Holly Black

The Darkness Outside Us by Eliot Schrefer

I Want To Eat Your Pancreas by Yoru Sumino

Judgement Day by Josie Jaffrey

Z I’m sorry to say I fell at the very last hurdle!!!!!!

Phew that was much harder than I originally anticipated but I really enjoyed going back through my ratings to find all my 5 star reads. Let me know in the comments if you have read any of these books or you have any recommendations for me.
