February is the month of LOVE with Valentine’s Day at it’s heart, so I decided to make a playlist of my favourite Love songs to share with you. There are so many songs out there that people automatically associate with love and if you search for love themed playlists you often see the same one’s appearing every time. My selection is personal to me and the songs all have an association or meaning in my life and have been chosen for that reason.
I think any song could become a love song depending on the personal experience that is attached to it. There are some songs that just have that ability to transport you back to a certain time, place or situation in the first couples of bars, music is magical in that way and everyone’s experience of it different.
I decided to choose my top 14 songs in honour of the 14th February and believe me it was much more difficult than I originally thought to whittle them down!

As I have said they all have a special meaning in my life, however the last three are the most special. That’s My Goal was our first dance at our wedding and the lyrics are so apt for our love story. Heaven was the song I walked down the aisle to and Can’t Help Falling In Love was played during the signing of the register after we were married. Just hearing these songs puts a (good) lump in my throat and transports me back to our special day.
