AD | When it comes to festive scents I am the marketing departments dream customer! Anything that has a hint of gingerbread, pine or Christmas spice and you can count me in; my current favourite is my Winter spice washing up liquid! For me when I get a whiff of any scent it can transport me back to a memory or evoke a feeling and festive scents transport me to good times with the family and warm cosy nights in front of the fire whilst the tree lights flash away in the corner. I think these happy memories are one of the reasons I gravitate towards any product that holds the promise of taking me back and helping lifting my mood.
I usually bulk buy scented pine cones, candles and wax melts in the run up to Christmas in the hope of keeping my home filled with delicious smells year round. They kindly sent me the Christmas Spice scent, however the Gingerbread and Christmas Tree also sound amazing!
Scented with cinnamon, clove, vanilla, almond and ginger the Christmas spice has everything I associate with the festive season all inside one little bottle. It’s a lovely sweet scent that isn’t too over powering which is perfect as my kids sometimes complain of feeling ill when I put a new air freshener in the car! Think garden centres at Christmas and that’s the smell you have!
I absolutely love the design and shape of the bottle and cork top, it has a real luxury feel and as bonus you can choose the colour of the bottle you’d like to receive alongside your scent. Before use you have to fill your bottle with the scent which is provided in a separate sealed bottle. Once full simply shake gently to soak the cork top to release the fragrance. Then all that’s left to do is to hang your Carfume bottle anywhere you like in your home or car using the attached cord. Alternatively you can purchase a specially designed clip to attach the bottle to your car vent.
It’s clear that a great deal of time and thought has gone into designing this product and it’s certainly a step up from the usual car air fresheners that you can pick up at the service station! Once you’ve found your favourite fragrance you can also just purchase the refill liquid and reuse the bottle you have or why not subscribe and save 15% by receiving a regular delivery to keep your scent topped up! Each bottle of fragrance lasts between 4-6 weeks.
