Wellbox Review: Care Packages To Say Your Amazing!

AD** Items featured in this post were gifted, however all thoughts and opinions are our own**

I’m sure I don’t need to tell you how hard the last 18 months has been on everyone thanks to Covid and although it feels like there is finally a light at the end of the tunnel thanks to the vaccine rollout it doesn’t mean we should forget about the struggles people will face going forward as a result of the pandemic. Thousands of people have been shielding or working from home for months on end and it can be a lonely and isolating experience, especially if you are used to a busy lifestyle. The impact of the upheaval in the life we used to lead will certainly have repercussions for a long time to come especially on peoples mental health. Personally I have been lucky to be able to continue my day job as a key worker throughout the pandemic and my mental health has most certainly suffered so I can’t even begin to imagine the impact it must have had on those confined to the same four walls day in day out.

As we move forward into this new way of living, with the loosening of restrictions I’m sure many of us will do so cautiously, perhaps still working from home and certainly not throwing ourselves straight back into the full social life we once had. Therefore, we must still be conscious of those that will be relatively isolated or potentially struggling and the company Wellbox were created specifically to help you reach out to those amazing and incredibly special people to let them know you are thinking about them even if you can’t be together at the moment.

Created specifically to help companies and teams working from home to stay connected, Wellbox have designed a huge range of carefully curated gift boxes that can be sent directly to your recipients. They are a fantastic way to help show your appreciation and thanks or simply to say you are thinking of someone and there are so many to choose from.

Wellbox kindly sent me their Sustain Gift Box which is filled with 22 specially curated healthy snacks from small independent producers. Thanks to their use of independent producers the products in the boxes weekly change meaning no two boxes are ever the same. My box contained a variety of sweet and savoury snacks including popcorn, protein bars and even one of my newly discovered favourite corn snacks from Love Corn! I was really impressed with the range products and in particular how well packaged the box was – I took out the items but found it impossible to get them all to go back in there was simply too much stuff so hats off to the packers!

My box also arrived with a personalised printed message which Wellbox provide free of charge, plus a cute little motivational postcard which perfectly encompasses the companies ethos which has taken pride of place in my office area. All boxes purchased from Wellbox are delivered by courier FREE OF CHARGE in the UK

If you regularly read my blog you’ll know that I love nothing more than promoting companies that give something back and Wellbox certainly fits into that category. For every Sustain Box sold they will donate a meal to the homeless charity Barnabus, however they do support a range of homeless shelters and food banks depending on which package you choose to gift and your recipient will receive details of where the donation is being sent.

I absolutely love the idea and motivation behind these boxes and although designed to brighten someone’s day during the unprecedented times of lockdown they are in fact perfect for any occasion or to simply give someone a treat. There are so many to choose from too including Hampers & Food Gifts, Healthy Snack Boxes, Mental Health & Wellbeing Packs which give a £1 donation to MIND for each box sold, Alcohol Boxes and even Cocktail/Mocktail Making Kits ideal for virtual meetings or parties even though those after work drinks might be on hold! So why not treat your staff or a special person to a surprise package to tell them how AMAZING they are!
