Regalo London: A New Way To Shop

As it’s nearing the end of the month I always find myself peeking onto the next page of the calendar to see how many upcoming Birthdays, Anniversaries etc we have and every time I am taken by surprise at the sheer volume! We don’t have massive families, however if you add extended family and friends into the equation we have quite a large number of people to buy for!

I have previously talked about my love of gifting personalised items, finding they offer a more personal touch, showing the recipient that you have really thought about their gift. I am therefore always on the lookout for companies that offer something a bit different as well as seeking to support small businesses too. Regalo London is one of my newest discoveries, although not officially due to launch until May their Twitter feed is full of ‘teasers’ showcasing the array of products that will be on offer when they open for business.

Regalo London is the sister company of family run business Melina’s Gift Shop situated in Tooting Market, London. The new website will offer the same high quality handmade, personalised gifts their store is renowned for with the added bonus of online ordering. Meaning ‘gift’ in Spanish, Regalo is the perfect name for this new venture which promises to help you find the perfect gift for any occasion.

The product range offered is vast including hampers, nappy cakes, 3D frames, wooden plaques, clothing and much more, even selling their very own locally produced Tooting Honey! Melina contacted me to ask if I would like to review a personalised item of my choice, however with so much on offer I was spoilt for choice and asked her what she would recommend.  She offered to make a personalised t-shirt for Leo and sent me some design ideas of items she had previously produced. Although I picked a previously made design I could have had any design/wording of my choice printed, even one sporting the brand new Regalo London logo.

Regalo design personalised clothing from Premature Baby size right up to adult which are available to purchase in a range of colours and designs. We received a black 100% cotton tee with the design “Pretty Fly For A Little Guy” printed in white. Wonderfully soft with a fantastic quality feel it’s urban style is perfectly on-trend. It looks amazing on- Leo couldn’t wait to wear it and participate in a mini photoshoot. I think the photos speak for themselves! I was also extremely impressed with the service, packaging and speed of delivery even over the Bank Holiday Weekend.

With such a wide choice of gifts available I’m sure everyone will be able to find a gift suitable for even the most difficult person on their ‘to buy for’ list!

The t-shirt we were sent retails at £10 (plus P&P),which I feel is very reasonable for a personalised item of such great quality– adult sizes are slightly more.
