I was nominated by the wonderful Nadia from Sea Of Venus who writes about a wide a variety of topics including lifestyle and beauty. If you haven’t already be sure to hop over and check out her amazing content.
So, on with answering the questions Nadia posed for me. Thanks for the nomination, I hope you enjoy reading my answers.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I’ve always wanted to visit New York, it’s top of my list, so I would love to have the opportunity to live there even for a few months to really experience the pace of life.
If you had super power, what would it be?
I’d love the ability to cure cancer. It’s a disease that has touched my life many times over the years and taken away loved ones. The effects of cancer on not only those suffering but their friends and families is horrendous and to be able to prevent that would be the best super power I could ever wish for.
Who’s one person you would love to meet?
This is so hard as I feel like I should say someone inspirational, however my immediate thought was Mike Myers! I fell in love with him when I was younger and watched Wayne’s World for the first time. Even (a lot) of years later he is still top of my celeb crush list.
What’s your main goal in life?
It’s a cliché but to be happy and enjoy life to the full. We only get one life and I want to make sure when I’m old and grey that I can look back and say my life was filled with happiness and love and that I took all opportunities that came my way.
If you could watch only one film for the rest of time, what film would it be?
Elf! I didn’t even need to think about it for more than a split second! As a massive Christmas fanatic, it’s one of my favourite films ever. It doesn’t matter how many times I watch it I’m always roaring with laughter!
What’s one thing you couldn’t give up?
This is an easy one, cake!
What’s the most vivid memory you have?
My memory is terrible and always has been, but a really vivid memory from my childhood is being driven home from school by my friends Mum during the 1987 hurricane. As a child it was incredibly scary, we were sure our car was going to take off the wind was that strong!
If you had to give up either your phone or your significant other, which would you choose?
Definitely my phone, Mr F is one of the most important people in my life alongside the kids, I’d be lost without him.
What’s something that you would recommend to anyone?
The best recommendation I can offer is to always be true to yourself.
What’s the worst thing you’ve ever consumed?
Unpopular opinion but Dominos pizza. I had it once and it was not only disgusting but I was extremely ill afterwards.
Where’s the worst place you’ve ever been?
In terms of places I’ve stayed it has to be a holiday site we visited in Kent – can’t remember the name. We stayed in a chalet which was basically a glorified shed with a tin bath and ancient beds. Our bed had the biggest dip in the middle we kept rolling into each other all night! The story does have a happy ending though as heaven knows why, but Mr F decided this shack was the ideal place to propose! Last time we were in the area and went past I wasn’t surprised to see it had all been demolished.
