Having just celebrated yet another Birthday I am acutely aware that I am hurtling towards the big 4-0 with terrifying speed and whilst it’s not a process I can halt I have started to notice the signs of ageing creeping onto my face! Combine those natural signs of age with a lack of sleep and permanently indented frown grooves and my skin is certainly starting to show the years after always being ‘baby-faced’ and mistaken for someone much younger.
There are plenty of products out there on the market to chose from all promising to help reduce the signs of ageing, however I have recently been road testing a newly launched daily age-defying moisturiser from Crème Du Loch®. So, what did I think of this brand new innovative product?
I have been using the Crème Du Loch® moisturiser daily for just over a month as I felt I really needed to put it to the test over a reasonably long amount of time. First of all I must pass comment on it’s packaging as I really love the contrast of the deep green and gold on the box which gives the product a real quality and luxurious feel. I also really like the simplicity of the jar which is classically chic!
The product itself has a beautifully soft creamy texture, yet applies to the skin with such a light feel that absorbs easily into the skin leaving it feeling soft with no greasy residue. It’s not thick or ‘claggy’ like similar brands I have tried in the past plus has the added benefit of smelling gorgeous. I have spoken before about how sensitive my skin is and therefore am always wary when trying a new product for fear of a flare up, but I’m thrilled to say that my skin has been fine during the time I’ve been using Crème Du Loch®, in fact it has felt for more supple and nourished than it does with my usual everyday moisturiser.
Whilst trialling this product I went away for a weekend break with friends who all gave the cream a go with some amazing feedback, with one friend even hailing it as superior to her own well-known brand-leader and vowing to buy some herself when her current product ran out!
With the benefit of hindsight I wish I had taken some ‘before’ pictures for comparison however I am certain that my skin is looking more youthful since I started using the cream – my fine lines are looking somewhat reduced and I’m looking a little less tired! I absolutely adore this product, it does what it says on the tin and has left my skin feeling wonderfully soft plus looking healthier and younger, what more could I ask for?
