Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Shampoo & Conditioner 200ml
I’ll be honest upfront and say that as a busy Mum I tend to opt for a 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner as on a school morning those extra few minutes can make all the difference! However, deep down I do actually love using separate products and it certainly helps the condition of my hair when I do. Anyway I digress so on to my experience with the tea tree oil products I’m meant to be talking about!
I absolutely adore the smell of tea tree, it has a wonderfully clean smell and these products didn’t disappoint with a lovely strong smell as soon as I opened them. I found them both to be a little more runny than other products I’ve used but they both lathered and applied to my hair in exactly the same way.
Once clean and dry my hair felt clean soft, silky and smelling clean all day – If I move my head quickly I get a fabulous waft of the clean smelling scent! The condition of my hair has definitely improved even after a few days of using these products with my frizz prone hair feeling and looking much smoother than usual.
Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Body Wash 200ml
I’ve talked before on the blog about having sensitive skin and I’m always wary when trying a new product. Being an all natural product and advertised as being suitable for the whole family I was pretty confident that this body wash wouldn’t be a problem and thankfully I was right!
Like the shampoo and conditioner the body wash has the same strong, clean smelling scent that I adore. It lathers really well and I found I really only needed a little squirt to cover my whole body. It was gentle on my skin without irritation and left it feeling smooth and cleansed. I’ve really enjoyed using this product and feel it’s fabulous value for money when considering only a small quantity is required for each use.
Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Toothpaste 110g
When I first opened the package from Nature’s Healthbox I was extremely dubious about a tea tree oil toothpaste as it wasn’t something I hadn’t heard of before and couldn’t imagine putting something that smelled like tea tree oil near my mouth! After doing a little research though I discovered that this fluoride and sugar free toothpaste uses the power of tea tree oil’s antibacterial properties to help keep teeth and gums clean and healthy and I knew I had to give it a shot- especially as it seemed to suggest it can help with that awful morning breath too!
Thankfully the scent of the paste is much more subtle and despite being different to my usual minty brand it wasn’t an unpleasant experience. I had expected the taste to be overwhelming but was pleasantly surprised to find my mouth felt clean and fresh afterwards and my teeth were just as shiny. I’d definitely continue to use this product as a natural alternative to my usual brand as the performance is equally as effective, if not better.
