Christmas Gift Guides 2018: For Kids

Day 9 of Blogmas and today it’s my gift guide for the little ones! I’ve left the kids guide until last purposefully as often they chop and change their minds about what they’d like in the run up to Christmas and I’m hoping if you are still on the hunt for something to add to their present pile this post will give you some inspiration.

Squidgydoodle Winter Wonderland Craft Box £11.99

Squidgydoodle is a fabulous small business that we’ve personally road tested on the blog before. They offer a range of fun-filled craft & sensory boxes for kids with everything from Unicorns to Superheroes. This specially created box contains everything you need to enjoy four perfectly pitched activities with no need to go rummaging in drawers and cupboards for materials.

They make perfect gifts and can even be delivered direct to your recipient if required. The activities included are ideal to keep the kids busy in that lull we get between Christmas & New Year when keeping them entertained can be tricky!

Orders for guaranteed Christmas delivery must be placed by 12th December, so make sure you order soon to avoid disappointment.

Bobby Bus Rascalpack £19.99

Next up is another fabulous small biz, Rascalpack run by Mum Sharon Lowe. Combining safety and fun she has created the Bobby Bus Rascalpack, a kids backpack with a difference. Using the practicalities of a backpack, she has incorporated a colourful, fun reflective vest to the front to help kids stay safe when out and about.

I know my son absolutely loves carrying around his things himself – he is a big boy you know! – and this unique design allows children to have the independence of doing that with the added safety element.

If you are looking for something different to gift this year Rascalpack is the perfect mix of practicality and fun.

The Best Of Baby Shark CD £6.99*

I’m not sure this next choice will go down well with parents! You all know the song and I’m sure even after simply reading the words ‘Baby Shark’ you’re now singing along in your head! I’m sorry to say they have released a special CD just in time for Christmas, which whilst parents reach for the Gin, I’m sure the kids will adore.

Little Robin Red Vest Book £11.99*

As a family who read a lot my motto is you can never go wrong with a book as a gift! There are literally hundreds I could chose to add to my guide, but I’ve pitched for our all-time favourite, Little Robin Red Vest. It follows the story of little Robin as he prepares for Christmas, making sure of course to have enough clean vests for each day. Whilst out and about he meets different characters every day, all of whom have a problem he selflessly helps them resolve.

This is a sweet little festive tale with a fabulous message at its heart that we enjoy year in year out.
