Ultimate Housework Hits To Clean To

It’s a brand-new year and there’s no better time to declutter and get your clean on! Yesterday I shared my speed cleaning tips to help you clean your home when you only have a limited amount of time, but what about some musical accompaniment to make cleaning even more enjoyable?

I love music and have an eclectic taste when it comes to my favourite artists and songs. There’s a style of music for every emotion and for me personally there are certain songs that can instantly lift my mood, increasing my happiness ten-fold. Music makes my soul happy and I love nothing more than putting some tunes on and singing (badly) along!

When it comes to cleaning tunes it needs to be something upbeat to give me some much-needed motivation as well as something I can wiggle my bottom along to as I whizz around with the mop! Therefore, I thought it only appropriate to share a playlist of some of my favourite songs to listen to whilst I ‘get my clean on’ to partner yesterday’s post.

Don’t Stop Me Now – Queen

Five Colours In Her Hair – McFly

24 Hours A Day – The Shades

Youngblood – 5 Seconds Of Summer

Valerie – Mark Ronson feat. Amy Winehouse

Proud Mary – Tina Turner

Gimmie! Gimmie! Gimmie! – ABBA

Billie Jean – Michael Jackson

Bad Romance – Lady Gaga

Love Shack – The B52’s

Let Me Entertain You – Robbie Williams

Havana – Camilla Cabello feat. Young Thug

Relight My Fire – Take That feat. Lulu

Paradise – George Ezra

The Grease Megamix – John Travolta & Olivia Newton-John

At just over an hour my playlist is the perfect length for a decent cleaning session, before it’s time to stop and have a brew! It’s available to download from Apple Music and Spotify so why not pop on the tunes and start the year the right way with a New Year ‘Spring Clean’.

Which songs help keep you motivated when doing the housework? Let me know your favourites in the comments!
